You will be escorted from the waiting room to a stretcher in the pre-op area of the recovery room.

You will meet your pre-op nurse who will do an admission question and answer with you.You will be weighed and asked to change into a hospital gown, with the opening to the back.

An Intravenous (for medications during the surgery) will be started in your arm.

All questions you have will be answered prior to going into the operating room.

Your anesthesiologist may ask you additional questions at this time related to your health history.
