The dedicated group of volunteers who make up the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Board of Directors play an important leadership role in supporting the hospital’s strategic priorities, overseeing quality and financial stewardship, and ensuring that our services continue to meet the evolving needs of the community. It is truly a privilege to serve as Board Chair alongside a group of highly skilled and knowledgeable Directors who share a deep commitment to STEGH and the community we serve.

We are fortunate to have an exceptional leadership team, compassionate staff, highly skilled physicians, and dedicated volunteers who work together each day to deliver outstanding patient care. Through their ongoing commitment and collaborative efforts, STEGH continues to meet the healthcare needs of our community by:

• Maintaining exceptional Emergency Department wait times
• Operating an Integrated Stroke Unit
• Providing both inpatient and outpatient mental health services
• Performing more than 10,300 surgical procedures annually
• Supporting over 830 births each year
• Offering comprehensive ambulatory care and diagnostic imaging services
