For patients who no longer require the acute care services of the hospital and the attending physicians has decided that the level of care has changed to chronic/complex care.  A co-payment charge will be levied to patients waiting for complex continuing care or a long-term home. The co-payment charge is set by the Ministry of Health and updated annually. Click here for more information.
