Uninsured Resident of Canada/Province
If you are a resident of the country or province but do not have OHIP coverage, you will need to pay for your care, such as, but not limited to:
- emergency visits, clinic visits, surgery, and rehabilitation
- doctor’s fees, lab tests, X-rays, MRIs, and other scans
- hospital rooms
- childbirth and newborn care
- ambulance services
You will be required to sign our Responsibility for Payment form, indicating that you understand there will be charges for your visit.
Following is a list of fees, which are subject to change at any time, without notice:
Per Diem: Per day based on the calendar. Example-an admission anytime in one calendar day must leave prior to 24:00 the next calendar day in order to pay for one day only.
If your OHIP coverage is no longer valid, please contact the Ministry of Health. Once a new version code is given to you, please give our Financial Services office a call at 519-631-2030 Ext 2179 or email accountsreceivable@stegh.on.ca.
