Respiratory Home Services

 Since 1990, Respiratory Home Services (RHS) has been providing excellent patient care both in the community and from hospital to home. Respiratory Home Services is owned, and operated by the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital and is both a Home Oxygen Program (HOP) and Assistive Devices Program (ADP) registered vendor. Our expert staff work to provide the highest standard of care to all of our patients both in the hospital and in the community. We provide a wide range of services and resources including:

  • Home Oxygen assessments, equipment and education
  • CPAP Therapy equipment and education
  • Suction equipment and tracheostomy supplies
  • Respiratory Medication Compressors and Spacers
  • Sleep solutions 
  • Oxygen therapy 
  • Other services

We have moved! Patient Registration and the new Ambulatory Centre, including respiratory testing, are now open in the South Building and Atrium. Use East Entrance and follow signs.

We offer 24-hour on-call service for emergencies, covered by a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
