STEGH Receiving $992K in Provincial Funding [News]

St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital is receiving $992,000 in Provincial funding that will go towards a new chiller for the hospital’s HVAC system. Data Privacy Day aims to inspire dialogue and empower individuals to take action. The date commemorates the Jan. 28, 1981, signing of Convention 108, the first legally binding international treaty dealing with privacy and data protection.
Blue Monday Shines Light on Mental Health [News]

January 21 marks “Blue Monday”, the so-called saddest day of the year. Although the idea behind the date is considered pseudoscience, it does provide an opportunity to open dialogue and conversation about mental health – which is a positive thing considering 1 in 5 people in Canada personally experience a mental health problem or illness in any given year.
