OHA Executive Golf Tournament 2009
The St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital (STEGH) has the privilege of hosting the Ontario Hospital Association Executive Golf Tournament this year on July 16th, 2009 at the St. Thomas Golf and Country Club.
The Club was founded in 1899 and Score Golf Magazine has consistently rated it as one of the Top 100 Courses in Canada. They were also recognized for environmental excellence in 1999 when the club achieved designation as a "Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary." The club was the eighth course in Ontario and the fifteenth course in Canada to achieve this status.
The OHA Tournament provides hospital and industry leaders the opportunity to gather in various communities across the province, generating goodwill and sharing in philanthropic opportunities. Money raised will support the redevelopment of STEGH’s Emergency Department.
