Beginning March 3rd 2016, construction within the Emergency parking lot will ramp back up in preparation for the new Mechanical and Electrical building.

The contractor will begin with the removal of the parking gates and rework the existing parking area, this means that there will no longer be parking for patients or visitors, however, patient drop-off is still permitted. Also, the windows in the Atrium, facing the Emergency lot, will be covered with plywood to prevent any damage while the heavy equipment is working within close proximity. Emergency vehicles (Police, EMS, and Fire) will continue to have access to the emergency department throughout the construction phases.

All ambulatory patients are asked to park within the East lot and utilize the East entrance to access the Emergency department. Communication plans and additional signage are currently in the works to help direct everyone throughout construction and will be implemented in weeks ahead.

Your cooperation and assistance to help direct those in need during this transition is greatly appreciated.
