Preparing for your Outpatient Procedure
Some patients may have a booked surgical procedure and return home the same day. Before your appointment, be sure to review any instructions provided by your referring physician including what to bring/do in preparation for the procedure.
Remember to bring with you:

All your prescription medications in their original containers.
Inform your nurse and doctor of any drugs which you have recently stopped, any allergies to foods, medications, environmental, or any other adverse reactions.

A list of any questions you have – you may want to write them down to ensure they all get answered.
A friend/family member for support and if you need help getting to and from the hospital.
