Cardiac and Intensive Care Unit (CICU)
Intensive care services range from post surgical care for adults, to medical supportive care for critically ill patients admitted from the Emergency department or transferred from other health facilities.
Cardiac monitoring supports patients who require less observation than intensive nursing care but more critical observation than what can be provided on a Medical or Surgical floor.
An Internal Medicine Physician, Anesthetist and Surgeon are on call 27 hours a day/7 days a week.
Visiting Hours
2:00pm - 8:00pm daily. Special care visiting hours for critically ill patients may be arranged outside of the hospital’s posted hours. Visiting hours for these patients will be determined by the members of the health care team in consultation with the patient and their families on an individual basis.
Location
The Cardiac and Intensive Care Unit (CICU) and the Constant Observation Unit are located on the Second Floor.
