The Emergency Department provides a full range of services to meet the unscheduled and emergency needs for clients of St. Thomas and Elgin County. Nurses and physicians specially trained in emergency medicine are there to care for patients whose health problems need immediate attention and cannot wait to be seen by a family doctor. The Emergency Department provides care to 35,000 patients per year.

Hours

The Emergency Department is available for service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Location

The Emergency Department is located on the ground floor of the hospital.
