
With a portion of the proceeds from his Great Lakes
Cancer Ride, Steve Darley (right) donated $12,021 for a new Bronchoscope for
STEGH's Operating Room. Steve rode his bike 2900 kilometres from Thunder Bay to
Ottawa starting last August and finished in September. Showing the Bronchoscope
to Steve and his wife Tracy who is also a STEGH OR Nurse is Dr. Hugh McLachlin.

The Aylmer Shrine Club presented a gift of $4,000 at
the Foundation's Annual Recognition Luncheon to help children at STEGH.
Presenting the cheque (left) George Sinden, Shrine Club Member; Dave Mennill,
Foundation President; Tim Hewbank, Club President. In front is Kali
Lambert-Fitzpatrick who also attended the luncheon.

The Mocha Temply Hillbilly Clan donated $7,500 to
the STEGH Foundation to purchase an Isolette for the Family Centre and an Infant

The City of St.
Thomas made a donation of $30,000 to fund new beds at STEGH. (Left) Mayor

RBC Royal
Bank have made a generous gift of $20,000
to help fund new beds at STEGH. Accepting
the cheque from left Paul Collins, Hospital
President & CEO; Gus Kotsiomitis, VP
Commerial Banking RBC; Gary Coutts,
Accounts Manager Commerical RBC; and Ron
Elliott, Foundation Past President. New
beds will start arriving at the Hospital
mid-July. Of the $1 million goal for new
beds & furnishings - $969,254 has been
received & pledged.

The Hi Ro Clown Unit donated 4 Flat Screen TV's plus
$3,600 for Sleeper Chairs for the Family Centre at STEGH. Joining in the

Scotiabank held a Silent Auction which netted $1,104
for new beds & furnishings at STEGH. Accepting the gift(from left) Chris
Stinson, Foundation Program Coordinator; Don McNabb, Bank Manager; Allan
Weatherall, Foundation Director of Development; and Karen Ferrie, Customer
Service representative.

Catholic Women's League of Holy Angels Church have
made a donation of baby gifts to the Family Centre at STEGH. Joining in the
presentation (left) Louise Perrier, CWL President; Dave Mennill, Foundation
President; Joanne Gruber, STEGH Volunteer of the Year; Terry Collins, CWL
Treasurer; and Antonette Lane, CWL Past President. The gifts were a result of a
Baby Shower the Women host to help families in need at the Hospital.

Faith Baptist Church have provided a gift of $1,212
for new beds at STEGH. Money was raised at their Easter Concert. Paul Elliott,
Minister of Music presents a cheque to Gemma Nott, Medical Program Manager of
4th & 5th floors.

O.E.S. Flower City Chapter's Worthy Matron Bertha
Morgan and Worthy Patron Geoff Morgan present Chris Roberts RPN with a $1,000
donation to support Pallative Care at STEGH. In her role as Worthy Matron, Mrs.
Morgan chose her Project to help those with cancer.

Lord Elgin Kiwanis Club present a gift of $1,000 to
the STEGH Family Centre for a Sleeper Chair. A Sleeper Chair allows a family
member the opportunity to stay overnight to provide comfort to a young patient.
On behalf of the Club, Carl Withenshaw presents a cheque to Kelly Johnston RN.
Also present is Hazel Brandon, Governor of Kiwanis Eastern Canada and The
Caribbean District who visited St. Thomas to speak with local Kiwanis Members.

Pastor Bill Coleman and wife Nancy (left) present a
donation of $7,400 to Jackie Moore, 4th floor RN and Ron Elliott, STEGH
Foundation President. This gift is the result of proceeds from the Faith Baptist
Church concert held in December and will help purchase new beds for STEGH

Presstran Industries made a donation of $565 to help
the STEGH Foundation’s current fundraising needs. Joining in the presentation

VenGrowth Asset Management sponsored a
Gingerbread Train Contest amongst their Financial Planning Associates. Nancy
Watson, staff member at Dundee Wealth Management in St. Thomas submitted her
gingerbread train and won 1st prize in the Adult Category. The prize was
$2,500 to a charity of choice and Nancy picked STEGH’s Family Centre which
will use the gift to purchase a portable Oxygen Saturation Monitor. Back (l

Port Stanley Lioness have made a donation of $2,000 the STEGH Foundation.
The money will benefit the Hospital's Ambulatory Care Centre. Joining in the

Armstrong and Margaret Hackshaw. The presentation was made at the
Foundation's 2nd annual Gifts over Time Recognition Luncheon.

Cam's Heating & Air Conditioning
made a donation of $5,000 that will help fund the Foundation's new $1 million
campaign to purchase new patient beds. Accepting the donation is Sharon Little,
Foundation Director from Cam Thompson.

HOPE for Hospital
HOPE (Help Optimize the Palliative Experience) organizers Dr.
Sharon Baker, middle, and husband Don Baker, right, present a cheque to
Chris Stinson,left, Foundation Program Coordinator from their recent Rock
for HOPE Concert. This year's event raising $3,707 bring the three-concert
project proceeds to more than $11,000. Money raised has purchased a musical
keyboard and sound system for use in the Lunn Palliative Care Unit and
throughout the Hospital.

Holy
Angels Church CWL held a baby shower to benefit STEGH's Family Centre. Joining
in the presentation of sleepers, toys, etc. valued at over $500 are: (from left)

Trolley to the Family Centre at STEGH. Inside the Trolley is a television,
DVD/VHS combination player and a Nintendo Game Cube to help entertain young
