The Surgical Suite includes Operating Room (OR) and Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU). There are four operating rooms and one endoscopic suite that providing services. The services offered include general surgery, orthopedics, gynaecology, thoracic, urology and ear, nose and throat surgery, ophthalmology, oral-maxillo-facial and dentistry. In addition caesarean sections and endoscopic procedures are performed. Procedures are provided for inpatients and outpatients with anaesthetic coverage as required. 
The OR is for elective procedures at pre-determined scheduled surgery times. The “scheduled surgery times” are Monday to Friday 0730 – 1700 hours. “Urgent” surgeries may follow later in the day and “Emergencies” may interrupt a “scheduled” surgery. On call staff are available after regular hours.
The PACU receives the patients after the surgical experience to provide patient care for the immediate post-operative period following surgery. From this area the patient is transferred to the Inpatient Surgery Unit or the Outpatient Surgery Unit.
